Another study visit to Trondheim, Norway, took place on 20-23 March 2022. During the two days of meetings among the project team, we had the opportunity to visit SINTEF laboratories, such as the SINTEF Tiller Multiphase Flow Lab and the high-temperature heat pump laboratory, learn about NTNU's activities, and have fruitful discussions about the project work currently underway.
We are extremely pleased to announce that the EnerGizerS project has been nominated for the Polish Intelligent Development Award 2023 in the category: Project of the Future for the past results of the projects, which may result in a positive impact on socio-economic development. The nomination is also awarded for its open approach to promotion and communication with the public to present the importance of benefits.
We are pleased to announce that a fourth-year student of applied geophysics at the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection AGH UST, Ms. Beata Rudnicka, won 3rd place for her paper CARBON DIOXIDE STORAGE – IDEA AND DIRECTION OF DEVELOPMENT, in which she presented the EnerGizerS project and the results of petrophysical interpretation for the OŚNO IG-2 borehole – effective porosity and absolute permeability of Permian rocks based on the results of borehole geophysics profiling (see more about the laureates).
As part of the exchange of experience between institutions implementing geothermal research projects, the results of the EnerGizerS project were presented by EnerGizerS Project Manager Anna Sowiżdżał (AGH) at the User4GeoEnergy project workshop – Improving the energy efficiency of geothermal energy utilisation by adjusting the user characteristics.

The European Geothermal Congress 2022 (EGC 2022) was held in Berlin on October 17-21, 2022. The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) and the German Geothermal Association (BVG) co-organized EGC 2022.
There was another opportunity to present the results of the project. This time a representative of the EnerGizerS project team participated in the 7th International Conference on Renewable Energy Sources: Engineering, Technology, Innovation (see more), which took place on September 26-28 in Krynica-Zdrój.
On September 22, the EnerGizerS project team participated in the EnerGizerS Project Special Session at the CPOTE 2022 Conference: 7th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering Towards sustainable & decarbonized energy system (see more), in Warsaw, Poland.
The GEOPETROL 2022 International Scientific and Technical Conference was held in Zakopane on September 19-21, 2022 (see more). The motto accompanying the speeches at this year's Conference is: Challenges for the oil and gas sector in the era of energy transition. The GEOPETROL 2022 Conference did not lack representation from the EnerGizerS project.

On 30th of June, 2022, the internship of a young scientist ended. Maciej Szymanek, M.Sc., from the Department of Energy Resources, WGGiOŚ AGH University of Science and Technology, completed a 6-month internship within the framework of Work Package 3, which aims to conduct an experimental campaign to measure and verify the operating states of carbon dioxide as a working medium in CO2-EGS geothermal systems.
The 15th Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Refrigerants (see more) was held in Trondheim, Norway (NTNU-SINTEF Campus) on June 13-15, 2022, under the theme "The Natural Choices by 2030." The conference was attended by representatives of the EnerGizerS consortium.
