Last call to register for the Final Conference on the EnerGizerS Project. The Conference will take place in Krakow on the 5th of March 2024.
On February 1-2, 2024, the AGH Energy Center in Krakow hosted a seminar on the project "Strategy for the Development of CO2 Capture, Transport, Utilization and Storage Technologies in Poland and Piloting of the Polish CCUS Cluster (CCUS.pl)" and a workshop of the project "Polish-Norwegian CCS Network: Accelerating Climate Change Mitigation Technologies Deployment (ACCLAIMED-CCS)".
On November 21-22, 2023, a thematic conference entitled "EEA & Norway Grants contributions to EU Missions on Adaptation to Climate Change including societal transformation and Climate-neutral and smart cities" was held in Warsaw. The event was organised by the National Centre for Research and Development in cooperation with the Norwegian Research Council.
The 1st Scientific Conference on Distributed Energy (KNER'2023) was held on September 26th, 2023 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The conference, along with the VI Distributed Energy Forum held the day before, together formed the 1st National Congress dedicated to the topic of deep transformation in the energy sector.
The World Geothermal Congress is the largest geothermal event in the world organized periodically by the International Geothermal Association (IGA). This year (2023) the host of the event was China (Beijing). The three-day conference, held on September 15-17, 2023 was attended by more than 1,400 guests from 54 countries.
Our project partner MEERI PAS hosted a conference on the GeoModel project (Optimal management of low-temperature geothermal reservoirs – Polish-Icelandic cooperation on reservoir modelling) on September 5, 2023, in Krakow, Poland. In addition to information on the Geomodel project, the program also included a presentation of the results of the EnerGizerS project (see the conference program).
